My weekend

on  Labour Day I had a long  weekend. even I  didn’t go to school on Friday because I was sick when I was at  Home I went to the  movies and I  Watched the Dora  movie. I went with my mum and sister the  funny part was when Boots was  talking and my  coolest  favourite part was when they found the  Golden  monkey and also the  diamonds. The ending was very  cute because Doras  parents  let Dora to have a  Adventure.

yesterday the whol Pt England school went to sylvia park to watch our movies for the Film fistivel. First I herd my name to go to the Breeze then me and Helena went

to Mr somerbills van and it was a little bit bumpy but we got there then I saw the big fat screen then it was my turn then I saw masen Atarenga and also me when I saw  me I felt  excited but a little bit scared then I got to go to the movies last night it was an amazing day I loved the movie.

This  morning Room 27 Lined  up and  walked to learn the git up  dance. felt happy   and  excited  because we knew the song and wanted to learn the  dance.  First The class  tired we  went to class and  played  silent  dance to the  git up song in  then we did  writing about the  dance.

Today I learned about how to make a  balloon stick to  Rainbow  paper it was very very cool and I loved it. 

Emergence Assembly

 This morning  The whole school went  to the hall to  have  emergence  Assembly  emergence  Assembly  happens on the first day of each term to show what  each team is doing for  inquiry  that term. also I saw  The team 2  teachers were on the stage  doing a  dance and mr Burt  gave me a  marshmallow in a  biscuit it  was so so  yummy   But The  Black  parts was  yucky. I also saw  team 1’s  movie and it was  a  Little Bit fine for me I  liked  team 3’s one because it was all about being good at class I loved it team 4’s dance was very very cool because the cowboy song was my  favourite song even my  cousin miss tuia was in the  dance. Team 5’s one  might be a Nui  dance I think but it was cool.

Today I  finally  finished my  inquiry ee it  was fun  because  I wan to  do it again  finally I finished it.

The most interesting Sea creature

The most  interesting Sea  creature is a satwarer  crocodile.  And it is the  strongest sea  animal  in  the  whole  entire  World. I  can’t  Believe it is! It  eats  the  Megalodon  that is  amazing  very very  amazing.

Playdough fractions

Today I  learnt how to cut some playdough in  Half  And it was  very easy for me and the ee as well the  hardest one was the 4th one. 

Maths with Plato

  Yesterday My class made  plato and we used it with maths and we had  groups I was in the green  Group and I  didn’t want to touch the Plato because I thought it was  sticky.

Cross country

 Yesterday Pt  England School had  cross country on the  Field and  reserve.  We  have been  training so hard  for this all  term. My  House colour was Hikianalea  that is yellow team.  Jeremiah  came first Tupou came  Second Dwayne came  third. it was  fun. I  brought my  yellow T_shirt It was the  girls  turn  Oi‘Oi came  first motu came  Second pesi  came a third. I  Felt  very  very tired and Cassis  was in  Front of me. I  can’t  remember  Who  was  behind me  because I was looking forward to win the race.

The life Cycle of the Butterfly

First the mother butterfly lays an egg on a plant.This is called the egg stage. Next to the tiny caterpillar inside chews it’s egg

she’ll The Caterpillar is starving so it eats lots of food like leaves. This is called The larva stage. Next is the pupa stage. 

The caterpillar finds a strong branch where it will turn into a chrysalis. After 10 days a butterfly comes out.

Why octopuses Are Aliens

Octopuses are  absolutely  bizarre and  amazing They have no bones in  their bodies so they can squeeze  through  tiny  Spaces.  Hundreds of suckers on their  eight   Tentacles help them open lids to get their prey. other  strange   Things about their  bodies are that they have  three hearts and blue blood. Clever octopuses use camouflage to hide from their  predators. They also use  camouflage to   Catch Their prey.

Making chocolate chip cookies

On Friday after morning tea our class made  chocolate chip cookies in Room 27.  Ms Gaston wanted us to count how many chocolate chips were in our cookies. First Ms Gaston opened the box and I saw the  ingredients and we put it in the the bowl we mixed it and we put it in the oven Ms Gaston said “count to 60 and we did. when it was finished we ate it. was yummy and I had 9 chocolate chips.

otters are endangered they live and swim in the sea.  When They  need a rest,  they come up on the  shore  clever  otters  use tools to  Break into the shells of their prey.

The life cycle of the frog.

 When  adult  frogs  wanted to have a babies  they lay eggs. The  newly  hatched  tadpole  wiggles and they  swim  in the water.  Next  the  tadpole grows  Front legs and  behind legs and the  tadpole  gets Bigger  and  bigger and the  tail is  smaller and Smaller and the   Tadpole  grows  into a  frog.

New Zealand birds

I  learnd some   Interesting  things about birds when I read this book  did you know 

that kea are  parrots. They live in the  Mountains and  Play in the snow. Kea are 

clever and curious. They like to  explore and try new  things. But kea can be a big 

nuisance  because they can rip tents  and damage cars.  Sometimes kea hang  upside  down to look in  Windows.

One day the scary snake slithered around the woods and then the fox came along and they talked and talked and then Fox said "Let's go and find a mouse." And then they found one. Then the snake ate him up!
